I have wondered about some of the in-house lending that builders offer, and at times force Buyers to become pre-qualified with them. I have seen more builders insert in the deal that the Buyer has to be at least pre-qualified with their lender. I understand that they want to be sure that the Buyer is qualified but I don't think that is the reason. Click on the link for the full story.
