Intel Rumors and the market

Market Watch, click the headline, is reporting what many had been hearing around here since June, Intel may be laying off up to 20,000. I had prospective buyer for a listing who decided to not write an offer because of the rumors.
Of course all of the layoffs won't affect the Portland area, but it will still impact the market. Intel is quite often the top of the heap for jobs and these people will most likely easily find jobas elsewhere though I don't think our market could absorb them all. This is another factor contributing to the Buyer's Market.
